Suge Knight Claims Drake’s 2Pac Chain Is Fake

Suge Knight has claimed that the 2Pac chain purchased by Drake is actually a fake.

Drizzy recently appeared to take ownership of a Death Row Records chain that used to belong to the rap legend but Knight alleges it is not authentic.

He said to The Art of Dialogue: “Well, I’m quite sure it’s not true. When I came up with the idea to make the Death Row chain—one, it had never been done before. Two, it was like wearing a, you know, it was like having your flag, your rag. You can’t tuck it, It means something.”

The Death Row co-founder continued: “That’s not 2Pac’s chain. It’s not a Death Row chain. Whoever sold you that chain, Drake, you need to go beat his motherfucking ass. Crazy.”

Drake has long had a fascination with 2Pac’s jewelry, leading to Kendrick Lamar demanding the return of the “California Love” rapper’s ring to the West Coast.

During his explosive “Pop Out” concert in Los Angeles last year, K.Dot made the demand while performing his diss track “Euphoria.”

Kendrick changed the lyrics to the song and rapped: “Give me 2Pac’s ring back and I might give you a little respect.”

On the original version of the track, he said: “Somebody had told me that you got a ring, on God, I’m ready to double the wage/ I’d rather do that than let a Canadian n-gga make ‘Pac turn in his grave.”

The ring Kendrick Lamar is referring to is a piece of jewelry Drake bought at auction last year for over $1 million that belonged to 2Pac before he died.

The ring is made of gold, ruby and diamonds, and features an inscription that reads: “Pac & Dada 1996,” referencing the late rapper’s engagement to his girlfriend Kidada Jones.

2Pac famously wore the ring during his final public appearance at the 1996 MTV Video Music Awards, just days before he was tragically killed at the age of 25 in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas.

While the identity of the winning bidder was initially kept a secret, Drake later revealed that he was in fact the buyer of the ring, which became the most valuable Hip Hop artifact ever sold at auction.
