Real Housewives of Potomac alum Mia Thornton could be facing jail time over an alleged $11K furniture heist from an Atlanta condo in 2025.

The trouble allegedly began when Thornton was moving out of a furnished condo. She’s accused of taking $5K of furniture as well as a television. As BOSSIP previously reported, the former reality TV star was charged with felony theft by the Fulton County District Attorney, but now things may be heading towards serious jail time. Her arrest took place at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta, and Thornton was recorded being taken into custody.
Mia, who turns 42 in November, has had quite a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs since forfeiting her champagne flute on RHOP. From divorcing her husband Gordon to stoking the flame of suspicion around the paternity of their children. After introducing him to the world via the hit Bravo series, Mia also walked away from radio personality Incognito, whom she claimed was the true love of her life.
Nonetheless, Mia has managed to find a way to keep things moving. In September, she was the special guest speaker at the Henderson Charity Classic CLUBHOUSE & COUTURE: Women’s High Tea, where she spoke about her entrepreneurial endeavors as well as what she learned during her time on television. As for a possible return to Bravo, especially in light of some of her former castmates’ legal troubles, it’s unclear whether it will happen, especially if she’s allegedly headed to the slammer.
In the meantime, fans and supporters of Mia are still flooding her comments with requests for her to make another TV moment part of her comeback.
