“Don’t let the accent fool you!” A British-born #RHOP beauty is making it clear that she’s not afraid to stand on business, especially when it comes to a fellow Housewife whom she says “agitates her spirit.”
Tia Glover is back for her sophomore season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, and while she’s more comfortable with the cherry blossom beauties this time around, she’s already found herself at the center of some seriously messy marital drama.

As seen during the Season 11 premiere, Tia’s husband, Rob, was accused of (and admitted to) appearing on a dating app, and the allegations were brought to her attention by Stacey Rusch.
And while Tia isn’t disputing the information itself, she’s questioning whether Stacey was genuinely looking out for her or simply stirring the Potomac pot.
During an exclusive interview with BOSSIP’s Managing Editor Dani Canada, Tia opened up about the scandal, her fractured friendship with Stacey, and the explosive confrontation between them teased in the Season 11 trailer.
According to Tia, she was blindsided by the allegations on just her second day of filming, before she’d even settled into the new season.
“Stacey has not made up this story. It’s a real story. Rob did not deny it,” Tia told BOSSIP.
Despite that, Tia said that she believes Stacey’s delivery was anything but innocent.
“The issue I have with Stacey is she pretended that she was being so kind and so nice and doing me the solid because she’s such a good person,” Tia explained. “But you’ll see how malicious she is with it.”

Tia went on to allege that Stacey’s behavior throughout the season only made her more suspicious of her castmate’s intentions.
“Stacey is very distrustful, and she just operates in that more and more this season,” she said. “It’s now solidified in my mind that she and I are oil and water and she really does agitate my spirit.”
And while the two initially seemed to have the makings of a friendship, Tia said she has no interest in maintaining relationships with people she believes are dishonest.
“I do not tolerate people who are two-faced, people who can’t be held accountable, people that you have to kind of fact-check anything they say,” she explained.
“Life is so difficult as it is. And I have teenagers that truth be told, I’m fact-checking the stuff they say. And clearly, you know, I have to fact-check my husband. I can’t fact-check Stacey too,” she added.

Speaking of Stacey, the Season 11 trailer teased a particularly heated confrontation between the two, and Tia is making it clear that she has very few regrets about what went down.

During the interview, Tia addressed a moment in which she accused Stacey of pursuing married men, admitting that she made the allegation in anger without having firsthand knowledge to support it.
“I’ve heard a lot of things. I don’t have anything concrete,” she admitted. “That stuff was not factual because I don’t know for sure. I have not seen it with my eyes.”
Tia acknowledged that she lost her composure during the argument and repeated claims made by Charisse Jackson Jordan during the argument, but when it comes to the rest of the confrontation, she’s standing ten toes down.
“Everything else that happened at that dinner, which I hope you get to see all of it. She deserved it. I stand by it. I need a T-shirt. I’ll write it on. I’ll write it on my forehead. She had it coming.”
The Housewife said she’d spent much of the season biting her tongue as tensions mounted between them, but things finally reached a breaking point.
“She had it coming. I waited the whole season. I held my tongue,” she said.
Tia also suggested that Stacey crossed a line during a cast trip to London, where she felt her fellow Housewife had disrespected her.
“It’s one thing for you to kick me out of an event, your event, on your land, but what you’re not gonna do is come to my country,” she said.

Tia Glover Says Gizelle Bryant Didn’t Get Away ‘Scot-Free’ Amid Her Husband’s Dating App Drama
While Stacey is catching the brunt of Tia’s frustration, some #RHOP watchers have questioned why Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby haven’t received the same treatment, considering that both women were aware of the allegations involving Rob, and some fans believe Gizelle, in particular, should have been a better friend to Tia.
When BOSSIP asked about the criticism, Tia urged viewers to be patient because there’s more to the story.
“Be patient. You’ve seen a little bit of something. Hold your horses. Let it play out,” she said. “Gizelle did not get away scot-free. Okay. Rest assured, Gizelle did not get away scot-free.”
According to Tia, the difference between Gizelle and Stacey is that she knows what to expect from the former, even when she doesn’t necessarily agree with her actions.
Tia admitted that she would have preferred a heads-up from Gizelle before the information became a storyline, but said she ultimately accepted her friend’s explanation.
“I would have liked for her to give me a heads up,” she said. “When she told me her reasons, they were sufficient for me. Now I moved forward cautiously.”
As for Ashley, Tia said she wasn’t particularly heartbroken over her involvement because their friendship hadn’t developed to the point where she expected unwavering loyalty.

“I wasn’t heartbroken over Ashley because there wasn’t a lot of stock in that relationship,” she explained.
Still, Tia questioned why Gizelle would share sensitive information with Ashley, given her reputation for stirring the pot.
Ultimately, however, Tia believes Stacey deserves the most scrutiny for actually bringing the allegations onto the show.
“What I know to be true is Stacey is the one that brought it on the show,” she said.
Tia Glover Opens Up About Protecting Her Children Amid Her Marriage Drama
While the Potomac ladies have plenty to say about her marriage, Tia told BOSSIP that her biggest concern has been protecting her children from the fallout.
The mother revealed that she and Rob sat down with their children to discuss the allegations and prepare them for what viewers would see on the show.
And surprisingly, she said those difficult conversations have actually strengthened her relationship with her daughters.
“My relationship with my daughters especially has become stronger than ever,” she shared.
Tia also recalled becoming emotional while watching the Season 11 premiere with her family, only for one of her daughters to question why she was crying.
For the reality star, seeing her children handle the situation with resilience has made the public scrutiny easier to bear.
“My goal is to have them be harmed as least as possible and that matters to me more than any comment,” she said. “I’m the mom. I can take on all the pain. I can take on all the jobs as long as they’re okay.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Tia discussed standing by her fellow Nigerian Housewife Wendy Osefo amid her ongoing legal troubles.

According to Tia, she believes that biased coverage of Wendy’s case has perpetuated negative stereotypes about Nigerians, particularly by emphasizing her nationality in connection with the fraud allegations.
While she acknowledged that she doesn’t know the specifics of what Wendy’s dealing with, she said she’s focused on supporting her friend through a difficult time.
“What I do know is that she’s my friend,” Tia explained. “She’s going through a very, very difficult time and I just want to be a good friend.”
And when asked about criticism surrounding Wendy’s $100,000 vehicle purchase amid her legal troubles, Tia had a measured response.
“The same way I don’t want people to tell me how to do my marriage is the same way I don’t want to tell her how to work her finances,” she said. “I must say I would make different choices, but I don’t know her situation.”
Tia also had plenty to say about the return of Potomac’s Grand Dame, Karen Huger, whom she believes deserves a little extra grace this season.

According to Tia, the Karen viewers are seeing now is noticeably different from the woman they’ve watched over the years, and she made a point of being protective of her castmate.
“I was very protective over Karen this season,” she said. “Karen is different. And it would be wrong of us to expect her to be the same.”
Tia added that she hopes viewers and her fellow Housewives will show Karen compassion as she navigates this new chapter.
“I think that warranted some grace and some care,” she said.
As for whether Stacey can expect that same grace, Tia, however, said she can’t make any promises.
“Maybe she can stay over there, and I’ll stay over here,” she said of their fractured friendship.
